Recognition

Rovers may be presented awards and recognition for outstanding gallantry, achievement, service, and training.

Membership Badge   Awarded for successfully completing Basic Rover Training Camp.

Rover Badge  Awarded upon Presentation as a Rover.

Rover First Class Badge

Rambler Badge  Awarded upon successful completion of Rambler requirements.

Rover Service Star Medal   Awarded for each year of membership.  Successive years are denoted by a miniature star device in bronze, silver, or gold.

Rover Project Medal   Awarded upon the successful completion of an approved Rover project.

Rover Woodcraft Medal   Awarded upon successful completion of Woodcraft requirements.

Rover Service Medal   Awarded upon successful completion of a Rovers first position of responsibility.

Baden-Powell Medal   Awarded upon attaining the Project, Rambler, Service, and Woodcraft Medals.

Rover Wood Beads Badge (first award)   Awarded on successful completion of the practical outdoors portion of the Rover Leaders Training Course.

Rover Wood Beads Badge (second award)   Awarded on successful completion of the service portion of the Rover Leaders Training Course.

Rover Wood Beads Badge (third award)   Awarded upon successful service as an Assistant Camp Chief of a Rover Leaders Training Course.

Rover Wood Beads Badge (fourth award)   Awarded upon successful service as the Deputy Camp Chief of a Rover Leaders Training Course.

Rover Commendation Medal  Awarded for achievement.

Rover Medal of Merit  Awarded for especially good work for the Rovers Association.

Rover Meritorious Conduct Medal   Awarded for exemplary action not involving risk of life.

Rover Bronze Cross Medal   Awarded for acts of gallantry by individuals or by collective action, for special heroism or extraordinary risk.

Rover Silver Acorn Medal   Awarded for especially distinguished service, specifically involving the growth of the Rovers Association.

Rover Silver Wolf Medal   Awarded for services of the most exceptional character.
